POPE VISITS THE UK
Thursday 16th September
Pope Benedict will visit Scotland where he will be received by Her Majesty The Queen, members of the Royal Family and people representing British society in the Palace of Holyrood House.
He will then travel to Glasgow where he will celebrate an open-air Mass in the evening.
Friday 17th and Saturday 18th September
The Pope will spend 2 days in London.
Sunday 19th September
The Pope will hold mass at Coventry Airfield.
Coventry City Council is currently formulating its plans to manage an estimated 6,000 coaches.
It is expected that there will be a park-and-ride system operating from staging areas around the out skirts of the city.
With an estimated 300,000 people being expected to travel to Coventry to attend this event.
With such a high demand for coaches being expected organisers are recommended to start making their travel arrangements soon.
