13th September 2012 - Rye Market & Hastings

We first make a stop at Rye Market.
The market has been a tradition in Rye for over 150 years. Set in two acres of level ground with many different stalls there is no trouble finding bargains.
After the market we make our way to Hastings.
Located in a very attractive part of East Sussex, Hastings is a lively seaside town with a long history. Why not visit one of the many attractions this town has to offer, including St Mary in the Castle, one of Hastings' finest monuments. This magnificent Georgian church, with its unique circular auditorium, was designed by the famous architect Joseph Kaye in 1823 for the Earl of Chichester.
